What Ever Happened to Norma Perez? Apparently nothing.
This is a copy of the VA supervisor, Norma Perez's, email calling for diagnosis of Adjustment Disorder; ruling out PTSD. This diagnosis makes subsequent truthful claims of PTSD problems much more difficult, if not impossible, for the veteran.

MS Perez's behavior seems to be a prime example of "secondary wounding" caused by a person in authority, (so they believe,) who uses their "authority" to stigmatize the veteran and deny them their lawful benefits.

Careful readers will see she has written "Consider a diagnosis of Adjustment Disorder. R/O PTSD." In in medical records "R/O" means "Rule Out". It's insideous because it makes later, correct, brain flash diagnosis much more difficult, if not impossible.
Furthermore; after a careful Google search (Monday, Jan. 25, 2010) I find no mention of any disciplinary action taken regarding Norma Perez. I assume she is still doing the same job for the same pay. Not even a slap on the wrist. Plus two free trips to Washington to testify before Congress.... aw
