Don't Let The VA Declare You Incompetent Without Knowing Your Rights!

It seems that the VA can take information of it's own making and declare a Veteran incompetent to handle their own affairs. They can then appoint a fiduciary suitable to the VA, that may, or may not be suitable to the Veteran. The fiduciary is responsible to the VA, not to the Vet, with total authority to handle the Veteran's VA benefits according to VA policies and procedueres. Veteran's wishes for how HIS benefits are used can be safely ignored.

Veterans who have been declared to be incompetent to handle their VA benefits are, under Federal Law, ineligible to purchase, possess, receive, or transport weapons and ammunition. If you get a letter like the one below, call a Veteran's Service Officer immediately.
