Real time trauma
See for yourself how soldiers get PtSD in 11 seconds.

Perform your duties as citizens of the Republic.

Contact your elected officials. The most powerful statement you can make is a personal visit to the officials office, with a hand written note about one page long that you can leave behind. If you can't visit, just mail the note. A phone call will also get their attention. For some reason, faxes and emails just don't seem to have the "punch" of a hand written note.

Get the local addresses of your Congressmen and Senators here.

Im going to migrate all my great links to this page.  This may take awhile....

Related to PTSD

An Increasing number of Combat Troops are being treated for PTSD and other stress related injuries in the zone with psych meds such as Paxil and Zoloft. Maybe a great solution for keeping soldiers battle ready, Maybe not. Read about it here. From Time Magazine.

Some things in life never change...
From 2101: All Your Base are Belong to Us

ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!

What is six times larger than the United Nations compound in New York, two-thirds the acreage of Washington’s National Mall and ten times as big as any other United States Embassy?

It's the new Embassy in Baghdad. Cost nearly a billion, covers 110 acres, and is armored like a fortress. Check it out.

Paraphrasing Chalmers Johnson

Americans
do not recognize -- or do not want to recognize -- that the United States dominates the world through its military power. Since the end of World War II the United States, and her military industrial complex, have been building an empire of bases. The American Empire has its own geography not likely to be taught in any high school geography class.

Without grasping the dimensions of this globe-girdling Baseworld, one can't begin to understand the size and nature of some leaders imperial aspirations or the degree to which a new kind of militarism is undermining our constitutional order.

We Have At Least Seven Hundred Foreign Bases
It's not easy to assess the size or exact value of our empire of bases. Official records on these subjects are misleading....follow this link for more.

Here is something of a rarity at this site; An essay by me, about me. I'm sharing my recent adventures with Officer Ray Newbury and the Utah Public Safety folks. Hope you aprreciate the content. It could save your life. But hey, that's why I'm here. Andrew
