Perform your duties as citizens of the Republic. Contact your elected officials. The most powerful statement you can make is a personal visit to the officials office, with a hand written note about one page long that you can leave behind. If you can't visit, just mail the note. A phone call will also get their attention. For some reason, faxes and emails just don't seem to have the "punch" of a hand written note. Get the local addresses of your Congressmen and Senators here.
