return to UtVet.com homepage

I just received an email objecting this page linking to www.wanttoknow.info.

I've taken down the page with the desire of serving Utah Veterans.  We aim to serve veterans, but we also aim to please. I am very interested in your feedback.  Please contact me at andreww@iveracity.com I

Here is my reply:

Wow!  What an email.

First, thank you for your service to the nation.  You are precious to United States; one of the patriots who held their arm to the square and took a solemn oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.  Correct me if I'm in error but I don't recall ever being released from that oath.  How about you?

Second I will take down the link you object to as soon as I mail this reply.

I hope you understand that I'm taking these steps to honor you and in thanks for your service as well as responding to your well written letter.  I don't happen to agree with your point of view on every issue.  For example; I subscribe to Patriot Post that your letter links to, and I find Mark Alexander to be somewhat right of Attila the Hun -- from time to time.  But I certainly don't want to post material that you find personally hurtful.

As for people who have serious questions about September 11. . . .  I believe there is enough evidence in the court of public opinion to seriously investigate the veracity of the 9/11 Commission.  I am particularly taken with the arguments of Professor Steven Jones, formerly of BYU.  Jones is a nuclear physicist who has invented a solar funnel cooker made with cardboard and aluminum foil. It really works.  He has donated several hundred to developing counties.  http://www.physics.byu.edu/research/energy/

You can watch raw video of Professor Jones giving a lecture sponsored by the UVSC Ethics Center regarding controlled demolition of the WTC at video.google.com/videoplay?docid=964034652002408586     I just can't picture these UVSC folks as "a group of knucklehead fanatics who [ ] are seditious, anti-Bush obsessed and America-haters."   I recommend you view this video.

To my knowledge, no one has refuted Professor Jones' analysis and I've looked hard for contradictory evidence.  I am unaware of any that qualifies.  Please forward any such info to me and I will immediately post it on www.utvet.com .  Ironically, Jones retired less than a week after President Bush had a meeting with Gordon B. Hinckley, President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake City.  Bush was here to address the American Legion national convention back in August 2006.  Jones got canned for pointing a finger at Paul Wolfowitz, one of Bush's cronies.

But on these issues like 9/11, I'm grateful to live in America where it is possible to express differing opinions and reach differing conclusions.  My main point in originally linking to www.Want to Know.info was to urge veterans to get personally involved in continuing service to the nation.  Our motto is "Called to serve, still serving."

My wife says "The First Amendment rules! Go write your own web site! Link to Hannity and Colmes.  Have a nice day."  But she is a history grad from University of Virginia and she was laughing as she said it.  She hates Want to Know Info too.

Respectfully,

Andrew Wilson
